This course is challenging - those with low handicaps will find it a
serious challenge to come in under par but those with higher handicaps will be able to enjoy their round. Most holes offer spectacular mountain views
overlooking palm trees and olive groves, and the surrounding cork and citrus farms
generate a true feeling of authentic Portuguese golf.
Step out onto a golden Vilamoura Beach, or enjoy water sports at the nearby marina. There are several golf courses a short drive away, including the Victoria Clube de Golfe, home of the Portugal Masters.
Penina was the first golf hotel in the Algarve, and has remained a favourite with UK and Irish golfers since it opened in 1966.
Located between the beaches of Portimao and the Monchique mountains, this airy golf resort is the perfect place for relaxing amongst nature.
Vale de Pinta is a well laid out and interesting course.
Palmares Golf Course is ranked 26th in the Top 100 Courses in Europe, and it's easy to see why. The course boasts undulated fairways through Atlantic Coast dunes and stunning views of the Ocean.
The Ocean Course is composed of the two original 9-hole golf courses designed by Sir Henry Cotton.
