Northern Ireland’s Royal County Down Golf Club is consistently ranked among the Top 5 golf courses in the World and always top 3 among the many great courses of the UK and Ireland. Originally designed by Old Tom Morris, the Championship Links weaves its way through rugged natural sand dunes and has heather and gorse in addition to hollows that define this masterpiece.
There are numerous great holes on the course with the 9th being one of the most photographed in the world. The Annesley Links is a pleasure to play wand while much shorter than the championship course its a great test with small greens several dog legs. It has been modified in recent years and is well worth playing.
