Set
in a typical Algarve landscape, this course has almond and olive trees spread over the
course which covers small valleys and hills. Two holes that deserve special
mention are the par-3 10th with its large bunker defending the green, and the
par-5 13th, which winds through a valley for 541 metres.
Penina was the first golf hotel in the Algarve, and has remained a favourite with UK and Irish golfers since it opened in 1966.
