Turkey, Belek
The course was designed by former Ryder Cup Player Dave Thomas, and it is very good. The first two holes are long par 4s that will challenge all players. The rest of the course offers a great variety and the back nine is excellent. The course is bordered by the Acisu River and is located at the end of Belek next to the Gloria resort.
This is only one of two courses in Belek with bent grass greens, which is very difficult to maintain in hot countries, but it does provide a great putting surface when looked after well. Nobilis is best played in the winter and spring when the greens are in excellent condition.
Kaya Belek is a great budget option for a Golf Hotel in Belek
The Sirene Hotel is one of the original golf hotels in Belek, and lies on a sprawling estate next to a Mediterranean beach.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Belek, the Gloria Serenity Resort offers the ideal setting for a relaxing break.
The Cornelia Diamond is a great all round hotel. The 27 Hole Cornelia Golf Club is only a few hundred yards away, making it a great choice for golfers and families alike.
The Pines opened at the end of 2007 and is the longer of the two courses at the club. It is a great test of golf, and 9 and 18 will really test your nerve.
The first of the 2 courses to be opened at Antalya Golf Club, the Pasha Course is the shorter of the two, but is a very enjoyable course to play, with less water than the neighbouring PGA Sultan course.
The Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Course was designed by Colin Montgomerie, and was a popular event on the European Tour for three years running.
The 9 hole Verde Course at Gloria Golf Club is a great course that would not be out of place on either of its neighbouring Old or New Courses.
