Spain, Murcia
The South Course at La Manga has gone through several changes since it first opened in 1971, including some modifications to the original Robert Putman design, by the late Arnold Palmer. The fairways are fairly generous, although the palm trees that flank many of them come into play on most holes.
There are several lakes to contend with and the course is well bunkered. The 18th is a great finishing hole and has an elevated and well guarded green next to the 5 star La Manga Club Principe Felipe Hotel.
The 4-star Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, Spa and Base Nautica, is located on the seafront in Aguilas.
Located in the Region of Murcia on the Costa Calida, the 5-star Ona Mar Menor Golf Resort is a haven of tranquility, offering the ideal location for guests who want to relax.
The Grand Hyatt La Manga Club ranks as one of the best hotels in the region of Murcia. Located at the heart of La Manga Club, this hotel sits in an unparalleled setting next to Calblanque Natural Park.
A great test of golf and more of a challenge than the relatively flat North and South Courses.
This stunning course is situated near the town of Torre Pacheo in Murcia, and boasts a front nine designed by Dave Thomas and a back 9 designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.
Inspired by the famous desert fields of Arizona and California, the Indiana Field is the first desert field in Europe.
An easier challenge than the South Course at La Manga, the North Course offers an enjoyable test on an attractive course.
